Day 18
Today we worked on the retrieve. Perrin and Sei are in very different places with this. Perrin has a decent ‘retrieve’ part, but he has none of the formal components (presentation being the biggest lack). Sei is just beginning with it. He has an informal ‘hold’ type behaviour, but with no ‘give’. He also doesn’t want to be close to me with something in his mouth (he has always been inclined towards keep away), so we have lots of work to do shaping it bit by bit.
I am trying to do more basic work outside the house, so we tried this out there. Sei did better than expected, and Perrin did worse.
